Emergency Assistance For Refugee settlement at Nuh
The Rohingya refugee settlement in Nuh, Haryana is suffering from water stagnation. The settlement is established in a low lying muddy area and has been flooded with stagnant rain water for the past many days. Because of this, many people have gotten skin diseases, and the main problem being faced by the people is the lack of food which has affected their nutrition.The settlement houses 30 families and close to 206 people are living there.Our aim is to run a community kitchen for at least one week in this settlement so that they can be provided with nutritious food until they get back on their feet.Please support our effort by donating whatever amount you can afford and sharing it with us on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp groups.Your support will go a long way in helping these people in distress.S. Make this Ramadhan, a Blessed month for the Rohingya Refugees at Nuh
About the FundraiserAs the most blessed of the months is around the corner we should try to be more generous and more helpful to the people around us. Nobody should miss the beauty of this month in any sense. Be it fasting, prayers, charity, suhoor, iftar, or anything. As a Muslim, it is our duty to look around us and share our blessings and happiness with those who are not having it. There are people who don't even have enough food to fill their stomachs. They don't get proper sustenance to gain energy to fast or pray. Their children are deprived of the happiness of having meals at the time of iftar, suhoor, lunch or dinner. Since charity is the best and most richly rewarded activity in Islam we Miles2Smile foundation is bringing a donation drive where you can donate and bring smiles on the faces of many that too in such a blessed month. This drive is for the people of Chandni1, Chandni 2, and Chandni 3 at Nuh in Haryana. They are the Rohingya Muslims who are suffering a lot and struggling for their survival. We are planning to provide the families living here with one month of ration so that they can happily and nicely pass this month. We visited 3 different settlements and made an estimate of the budget and the things required. There are 49 families in Chandni 1, 33 families in Chandni 2, and 32 families in Chandni 3. We are planning to provide them with rations including rice, flour, cereals, sugar, spices, milk powder, cooking oil, dates, and some more essential things. The expense of Sustaining one family will be Rs.1980. There are a total of 114 families in all three settlements. We encourage you to donate as much as you can to make this Ramadan a Happy one for them and for yourself as well because Indeed, wealth does not decrease by giving in charity, but rather, grows and is purified and also increases an individual's barakah. It brings a balance to society and benefits the community. So, let's move ahead towards this noble cause and make a difference in the lives of these Rohingya Muslims.
